Omega 3 Compounds

Omega 3 is an essential fat that our bodies can’t produce and so we need to get them from food.

EPA and DHA are two different forms of fatty acid that makes up the omega-3 family and both have slightly different roles in the body.

EPA’s main function is to reduce inflammation.

DHA’s main function is nerve and tissue development, specifically around the central nervous system.
